100% cotton double lined gauze. Depending on personal preference, some may find the material slightly sheer. If desired, a slip can be worn underneath for added coverage.

Garment Care

After washing, this garment will take on a beautiful cheesecloth effect. We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Each fabric is then washed and softened, letting the colour settle naturally while preserving lightness, movement, and feel.

"The Lilac Kyra is very pretty and cool. It is light, but not at all see-through, (important as I can't be double layering in the summer heat). In fact, the dress is sturdier than it looks. It is also well cut. I ordered the XL and am usually an AU 16, though my bust can push me to wearing larger sizes, my shoulders are comparatively narrow. The dress fit well across the shoulders, but the seam hits mid bust unlike on the models. However, it still looks fine to me given the voluminous fabric and cool baggy style. Would love to see this in an indigo blue or mint green with pattern. I appreciate the covered arms, but they are loose enough for free movement too. Given the quality I expect to have this a while. Well done! A really great online shopping experience."
